I live in central Texas with my husband, two boys, and seven dogs. I am a painter and photographer. I paint using oils and tend to paint photorealistic images. Sometimes I use watercolors if the mood strikes me. I got my start painting with my grandmother. I can remember painting with her before I could write! I completed my BFA at Baylor University in photography.
I am active in our community participating on the Humane Society Board of Directors and the Food and Wine Festival Committe and Paws in the Park Committee. I am a member of Delta Society and Angel Paws Pet Therapy Team that works at Providence Hopsital. I write a dog blog for the Waco Trib which is proving to be fun and a bit surprising at times. So with this new venture into pet portraits I think I may have found a way to merge my two great loves!!! Pets and Art!!!

| This is a photo of my current working space. I am in the process of moving to a larger studio instead of a home office.
I am working on a current resume, but in the meantime, if you are interested in my work experience I have exhibited many times in juried shows around the country. In many of those shows I have been awarded for my work. I have sold pieces to museums through shows as well.
